This is a movie which will make you laugh, cry and experience love in all its forms. Marriages are not easy, but they are certainly worth fighting for. "Hum Aapke Hain Koun..!" shows that when family sticks together they can achieve anything. *Warning contains spoilers* The film opens with an arranged marriage in the wealthy Bajaj family between Vijay (Salman Khan) and the groom's sister Anju (Madhuri Dixit). The bride is so happy her brother has found someone to share his life with after their parents died when she was just three years old. Vijay does not have even a tenth of Anju's family wealth but is doted on as he is the only son of the family. At the time of the wedding, Vijay's best friend Malay (Suraj) becomes very upset as he loves another girl, Kajal (Madhuri Dixit). Before the wedding, Anju sees a ghost on her wedding night and believes it to be a sign from God, thus she leaves Vijay and goes to join Malay. They both have a beautiful love story but fate keeps on intervening in their lives. Kajal rejects Malay's proposal because she doesn't believe in marriage. Malay gets the news that his father is ill and he must return home but he is murdered whilst trying to save Anju's brother Ashok (Vinod Khanna). Vijay comes back to India, but thinks that Anju has made a dishonourable alliance with Malay, so he stays away from her for seven years. One day he comes across Kajal again who now has a son named Rajesh. Vijay realises that Kajal is his lost love Anju because she comes across as being an extremely happy woman who loves the poor people of their village so much. He watches her every day for a year before he finds himself working in her house to pay off his debt after he is caught in a gambling den. Kajal finds Vijay very attractive and special, in fact she thinks that God has sent him to make her life happy again, but he continues to think of Anju. Kajal is desperate to get married before she turns seventeen when she will be classed an old maid by the village standards. She finds herself in two engagements but doesn't believe them to be true love because of her love for Vijay. Meanwhile, Anju and Vijay's father (Dalip Tahil) re-marries after the death of his first wife, and during the engagement ceremony he announces that he has a son. They were unaware that he had a child as they thought he had left his family as they were so poor. The bride Anju's stepmother is very rude to them throughout the engagement and to top it off she even orders her son Ashok to attack Vijay because she believes him to be an imposter who has entered their house as a servant to gain their wealth. Vijay comes from a wealthy family but doesn't care for wealth but Anju's father loves wealth more than anything else in life. cfa1e77820
